A polyester putty to fill flaws, cavities, dents, and rotten areas on polyester, metal, and wood surfaces

Product Description

A lightweight, thixotropic, compact, VOC-compliant, 2-element polyester putty for filling cavities on car bodies, commercial vehicles, and equipment, as well as for repairing OEM 2- and 3-coat systems, and for design work. It is formulated with top-quality, lightfast pigments to meet OEM colour standards and exhibits excellent coverage and flow. It is easy to apply and includes paste hardener.

Application

Mix 100 parts with 2 to 3 parts hardener and allow to dry for 20 to 30 minutes at 23 °C. Note: Adding too much hardener may stain the topcoat. Add 50% less hardener above 80 °C to prevent peeling. Short-wave IR drying time is 5 to 8 minutes at 60 to 70 cm. Pot life is 4 minutes at 23 °C. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 °C or to 1K filler, etch primer, soft and old paintwork, or TPA substrates. Clean the substrate and make sure the surface is air-dried before applying. Apply with a spatula within 4 to 5 minutes before it hardens. Dry sanding is recommended with a flatbed sander using P80 to P240 sandpaper. Use the appropriate protective equipment and ensure good ventilation.
